"A little higher on prices but I go there because of the butchers. You can't beat a fresh cut if meat. Good seafood."
"The decent store I just had trouble with the Western Union every time I go some reason they said machines not loading so if you want Western Union you better go to Walmart or somewhere else."
"Items are pricier than the competition even with the store/loyalty card. I've only ever stepped in this Food City maybe 5 times of near 10 years I've lived here and each time I reach checkout, there is this awkward weird and filthy vibe I feel from the person checking me out and the bagger assisting them. It makes me wonder when I see the reviews of great customer service of where those people are when I visit, cuz its strange each time for me. This type of experience is what keeps me from coming here. I only ever stop here because of the occasional gift card my company provides me every once in a while - but you'll never catch me spending out-of-pocket money here willingly"
"Not bad for a food city, I guess. In general, terrible selection even if they carry a few things I can’t find at Kroger; I only come here when FC is the only option. Overall their prices are terrible, and if you don’t have a value card everything is practically double. I have one but there aren’t any *real* perks with it, just the reward of avoiding their full prices which are prohibitively expensive. I got 4 bags of food for over $100. Produce is trash. Plants are suffering. Food city’s store brand items are consistently bad, across the board, and their aesthetics in general are very … ehhh, purgatory? Yea. It’s giving purgatory. Also what the heck is up with the checkouts? What am I supposed to do if I don’t have a buggy? Hand the cashier my stuff directly? What if I have a basket? Do I put it on the little ledge? Do I hand it to the lady? How long do I stand on which side? Staff at this location is nice. Store is clean-ish. Vibe is very “I’m dead but don’t realize it yet so I’m doomed to carry out the motions for all eternity or until I find and kill god” kinda vibe"
"I like this grocery store because they work hard to keep it very clean and organized. The staff is helpful and friendly. Be sure you save your points for the gas rewards, and they also double your discount one day a week when purchasing fuel Stopped in today for a few items and shoot a few pictures of how clean the store is. Good job guys"
