Main Street Magic Cafe 113 North Main Street, Lenoir, NC 28645

"I'm sitting here at the restaurant currently. I've been here for about 40-45 minutes at least and NO food brought to table yet. It's Saturday Feb 4th. I stopped in driving thru town. The wait initially before being seated was 20+ minutes with absolutely NO acknowledgement from any staff member. I went in front of 2 other parties waiting to inquire as to what was happening. I was told that they had 2 large parties they were trying to wait on and that they were very busy. I witnessed 3 parties waiting in line walk out today. I sure hope the food is good and worth this LONG wait!!!!! My first experience here....not so good!"

"Fun atmosphere. Very nice servers. Reasonably priced and great value. The blueberry and cream-filled pancakes were perfect. Woulda been more perfecter with real whipped cream. The Club sandwich was not good. Soggy bread, not 3 tiered, wilted lettuce. Lacked the crisp flavor of a real club. The fried green tomatoes were served hot but awful and inedible. Response to owner's comments below... 1) My wife and I were served and consumed our food simultaneously. I don't make my wife wait for me to finish eating before she may begin. I did say that even the bad food was hot. 2) the non-club sandwich photos were not altered. We did not remove slices of toast, we did not add awkwardly thick tomato chunks, and we did not request the sandwich be hacked in half."

"So me and my wife decided to try Main Street Magic Cafe this morning 1-13-24. They wasn’t busy. People sitting at 3 tables. All other tables had dirty dishes on them. I know people will say they were short-staffed they was NOT short staffed. We stood waiting for 15 minutes. Multiple staff members walked by us but never acknowledged us. So we left, won’t make the mistake of trying them again."

"If you pass by Lenoir, you must come here. Great service, amazing price, tasty food, and nice setting! I felt in love with the blueberry filled pancake, our waitress recommended the pancake and also corn nuggets with a side of ranch! I’m glad in order them, best breakfast ever."
