"We stop there on our way traveling and we like to find private places to eat. Food was ok by seemed that the servers catered more to the local then visitors. Once we got our dinners brought over to our table, the server did not come back to see if we needed anything else. Noticed that they spent time with people knew. Wasn't busy time of the day, only a few tables had people at them, so really felt that we were being ignored. Sorry to say but we will not be stopping at the Cowboy Restaurant next time we are area."
"I heard about Cowboys from my neighbor, so after a day of riding in the Elkin area, I decided to try them out. My steak nice grill marks and was cooked mid rare just the way I like it, the greenbeans were seasoned nicely, and the potato wedges were nice and crispy."
