"We used to travel a distance just to eat here. Both of my kids had chicken tenders plate supposed to come with two tenders in each kid only had one tender and one piece of crispy skin (?) and so when we complained about it on the kids plate, they comped a replacement for us, and Jenna our waitress brought us check.... we were still waiting for replacement but then when we asked about the second kid we were told we would have to pay for it. Jenna told us it was $2 l, went to the register and they wanted us to pay I'm almost $4 ($1.50 in tax via the young cashier chomping on gum and playing with her hair) plus 75 cents just to use a card. So I ended up paying about $4 for one chicken finger that was supposed to, from the start to be included in the meal that we've already paid for.... Had to swipe card twice cuz she said first didn't take. It had. ... Already told my bank. I stood there almost crying over being over charged, just simply asked how I can address this with another level of management. Then SUSAN threw two dollars at me and screamed "the owner won't care if you don't like this"... We already had decided about 8months ago not go come back here when WE WERE TOLD THAT WE COULDN'T EVEN COME INSIDE WITH MY CHILDREN'S STRING INSTRUMENTS BECAUSE IT "LOOKS LIKE ARSENAL"... We can't leave them in the car (violins) in heat or they'll come unglued. Susan again, telling us to leave them outside ... So we ended up leaving and eating at Pizza Inn... I loved coming to Scotty's for the usually amazing food and greet service and running into all your friends.... But past two trips they have really gone downhill in service ..."

"A big fan of these folks. I meant to write up a review as few months back after the owner went above and beyond to correct an understandable error when I was billed. I signed for one amount but was charged another, when I contacted the staff the owner explained everything that happened and he made sure to reimburse me with cash for the amount I didn't sign off for. I insisted it was okay and just wanted to understand what happened with my bill. I thought that small gesture was outstanding and it really solidified my faith in this small town restaurant. I was there again recently and once again they just really do a great job with the food and service."
