"The service was great and the food was amazing, the food was also cheap and affordable with the food tasting good. The waiters were also very nice to us. I would definitely go here if you haven't yet."

"Donna was amazing, and teresa was as well. They brought out an unlimited amount on mtn dew because we can’t survive with out it. Has that good feel. Air conditioning worked very well. I loved the architectural design of this establishment. The smell is quite amazing and has the smell of rose cologne. The pictures on the wall are very American. The bathroom was very comfy. Amen brother"

"We had eaten here several months ago and all was good. Today we went again and it was a very bad experience. Not crowded so we thought service would be quick. After 10 minutes we had our drink and food order taken. Then we waited...and waited. Watched other people come in and sit and after a few minutes they would leave without being acknowledged. There was a large table who ordered after us and their food came out first. My husband's meal finally came and after taking one bite he realized it was a chicken sandwich, not a cheeseburger. Mine never came. Other waitress apologized and said we could just leave, didn't have to pay for our drinks. Very disappointed."

"After reading the reviews, I was really excited to eat at Dean's. We arrived at 11:20 and were only one of three tables seated. First off the cook(?) came out and said there was no chicken and rice, which made one table leave. We asked about the hot bar, and our server (Kelly) said it would be about 5 to 10 minutes before it was fully ready, so we went ahead and ordered. Mine was the hamburger steak, rice and gravy, and lima beans. His was the fried flounder,mashed potatoes and fench fries. In the meantime, the restaurant got pretty busy. After sitting for about 20 minutes, other people who came in after us got their food. We waited for 50 minutes for our food to come out with the server apologizing about the wait. The hamburger had very little flavor, and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes, and my husband's flounder was mushy. I am honestly not sure we will ever go back, but if we do, I will go the hot bar route. I will say the prices were reasonable and they had a big catering order that even the cook said they shouldn't be open because of."

"Excellent food, and I will have to say it really depends on what you get. The only thing I have got that I didn't care for was the Shrimp. Now this is just my opinion. But everything else is down home cooking. Just like my Grandmother used to fix. Hands down, I fill one of the best resturant's in Wilkes. Thank you Dean for keeping a nice clean resturant!"
