"Boone NC. NEWLY remodeled. More seating, new large bar with seats, packed house as usual with the amazing food. My friends had Salmon, Crab Cakes, Scallops, New York Strip, and I had the Rib Eye all cooked to perfection. The salad bar has been replaced with a build your own card checklist. You complete choosing as if you were at a salad bar, return to your server, and your perfect salad is returned promptly prepared to a tee. It was a delicious meal and a delightful dining experience."

"Visited The Peddler with a group of 8 on Thursday 12/28, and were seated very quickly despite an extremely busy night. The speed of service for drinks and food was impressive - this place is a machine. Our server was exceptionally attentive, kind, and quick to respond to our needs. He showed total professionalism and hospitality throughout the night. The manager was also actively involved in ensuring our experience was smooth. Her involvement in the dining floor operations added a personal touch that is rare in many establishments. Overall, really pleased with our experience, food, and adjustments we made. The Peddler provided a great dining experience with efficient service and great food. Definitely recommend for groups visiting Boone!"

"We ate here in July of 2020 and I have consistently recommended this chain to fellow steak people as one that needs to be checked out if you are in the area. The food was as good as any major chain but at a more budget friendly price point. Because I consider this chain to be competitive with the likes of Tony’s or Jeff Ruby’s it doesn’t get the top service or atmosphere. Don’t get me wrong the service was good and the atmosphere was homey and nice."

"This is by far my favorite steakhouse I’ve ever been to. There’s just something special about the peddler ribeye being cut table side. I would pick Peddler over any Ruth’s Chris, Charley’s, Berns, Papas Bros, or Capital Grill type steakhouse. I’ve tried them all and I stick with the Peddler."
