"I'll be candid about our experience, which unfortunately fell short of our expectations. Primarily, Leonia Medical Associates seemed more focused on the patient's insurance type rather than ensuring compatibility with the doctor. Directed here from Englewood Hospital due to a specific health issue, the recommended doctor wasn't accepting new patients. Subsequently, we were assigned a doctor who accepted my loved one's insurance. However, upon reviewing the doctor's credentials, it became apparent that the required expertise for my loved one's condition was not within their purview. Despite other doctors in the practice covering the specific diagnosis, when I spoke with the office manager and made my request to switch doctors I was initially met with insistence that the assigned doctor did address the health issue and they would update their website for me, I declined and immediately started questioning the integrity and professionalism of the establishment. During that same call, I was put on hold to verify my loved one's insurance, only to be informed later that no other doctors were available. What added to the frustration was discovering that a friend successfully booked an appointment with a doctor initially claimed to be not accepting new patients. I would advise exploring alternative locations for your healthcare needs before considering Leonia Medical Associates."

"I wish all medical offices were like this office! First, Dr Sejhal Gandhi is just absolutely amazing. She is so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She knew what other doctors never knew to do before. After a recurring hematoma & a course of antibiotics in the hospital she knew that an infusion of Dalvance would work. I’m finally healing. Thank you Dr Gandhi!! Also, a big thank you to your wonderful medical assistants too that are just the sweetest: Yessica, Stephanie, and Andrea. They need to be praised. Working with the public is a hard job and these three really shine! I would highly recommend this practice."

"Terrible customer service from staff. Doctors are very good but you can’t see the doctor unless you first deal with the staff who make appointments/deal with prescriptions. I was so fed up today when I called and wasn’t getting any response to my simple question: when will my prescription be refilled? The person was rude, not understanding, and couldn’t care any less. I told her that I may switch doctor offices if this is the treatment I’m getting and she said: go ahead. I (and three family members) will not go to this office anymore and would rather go somewhere else. Train your staff Leonia Medical Associates!"

"I'm knocking off a star because it's virtually impossible to get in touch with someone on the phone to make an appointment. I've had to make my last two appointments in person because of this. Believe it or not, it's even more impossible to find a doctor who actually cares about your health and who doesn't profile you these days. Yes, patient profiling is a thing. The only reason I keep coming here is because of Dr. Ramsetty who is wonderful and genuinely cares about her patients."
