"I went to Dr. Ko because I was diagnosed with an viral disease. The first time I met him he got a cell call in the middle of me talking and just walked out of the room. He came back and apologized, I thought it rude but gave him benefit of the doubt. He asked me to get testing done. I did that and came back in a week and he said I tested positive for the infection but had very low viral load and didn't need treatment unless the load increases. I've never heard of this disease before so I had lots of questions that Dr. Ko didn't want to answer. How should I manage this in the future? Can I pass this on to my children? What lifestyle or food choice should I do to keep myself health? What should I look for as symptoms to know that I'm not healthy anymore? My wife and I want to seek IVF treatments for fertility, will this affect our fertility? Dr. Ko didn't want to answer or gave me barely understandable answers to all of these questions. He basically told me to take vitamins (didn't specify what kind) and that if I wanted to have children I have to weight the pros and con's myself (he didn't explain the cons). Several times I had to explain to him that I didn't understand my condition and wanted to understand what the tests meant. At one point he told me the results of a certain indicator was" just medical terms that I didn't need to understand even though it would determine when and how I needed treatment. Dr. Ko was extremally curt, had no bedside manner, or any manners that I can see. He seemed rushed and had no time for his patients and seemed too important to give time to the people who come to see him for treatment or explanation. Please find someone else better."
