"Recently, our sister was brought into this facility after a long critical hospital stay. We have to say we're ok with not just the level of care she's receiving here but also the kindness & compassion shown her which was often lacking at the previous hospital. Update: Although this facility was overall good with her, we were extremely unhappy with the poor communication. They should have done more to be clear with what they felt the outcome would be instead of giving us false hope."

"My daughter was here on May, 2023 and received great care. She’s back for another stay and there’s a world of difference- staffing changed, no one readily available to discuss care plan, (you have to actually go to the reception desk to try to track down nurse) and I have only seen 1 doctor visit my daughter in the almost 30 days she’s been there. Definitely not the same place! Shameful that a great 1st experience went downhill in a relatively short period of time."

"Our 41 year old son was moved from Nassau University Medical Center to CareOne LTACH on July 25, 2019 and was released to Burke Rehabilitation Hospital on August 31, 2019. We are very impressed with the care and compassion he received while there. The nursing staff is excellent and the doctors are among the best! We were all treated with respect and compassion as they attended to weaning him off the trach as well as treating his other medical issues. There are always those nurses who go the extra mile for their patients and CareOne has many such nurses. We also found the doctors to be patient and understanding as they explained medical procedures and test results. The housekeepers were also instrumental in attending to our needs and lifting our spirits. We were blessed to have such compassionate and caring doctors, nurses, and staff. Our son has a long road ahead of him but CareOne has given him a good send-off to recovery! Thank you so much for making a very difficult time more tolerable!"

"My father received both excellent and compassionate care from the entire LTACH team and the physicians were very attentive and experienced. The unit and the room were always immaculate. Though my father was very ill, good food was still very important to him and he really enjoyed the amazing meals from the Cafe. It’s very hard to see someone you love suffer, but knowing my father was receiving the best care possible brought me peace of mind. I highly recommend this facility."
