"I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Developmental Pediatrics of Central Jersey. I have had awful experiences with developmental pediatricians over the years and finally discovered Dr. Alison Smoller. She is not like ANY of the others! She is truly one of a kind. Not only do I ADORE her but my 2 daughters do as well and that says a lot because they do not like any doctor lol. She treats my daughters as if they were her own and is so motherly/loving. We are always going to different doctors/specialists and the tantrums start immediately but when we go to DPCJ it is a completely different experience. My girls look forward to going to "play." Not only is Dr. Smoller the smartest doctor I know, but she is the most caring and compassionate woman you will ever meet. Every visit she is on the floor "playing" with my girls and they just have the best time with her. Every kid should have this experience. I just wish I found her sooner! It is not easy being a single Mom of two special needs little girls but knowing that I have Dr. Smoller by my side makes me feel so much better. She is always just a phone call or email away. She is incredibly special to my family! I am also a teacher and have so much respect for her because she is always trying to "better herself" by attending various workshops/conventions and sharing everything she learns with her families. That's why she stands out from all the "others." She CARES! Lastly, I also have to mention what a pleasure it is to deal with her office. Her assistant, Maura, is so friendly and welcoming and goes above and beyond for their patients. The second you walk in the office you are greeted so warmly and the same goes for your phone calls. She is extremely responsive if you have any questions/concerns via email as well and will make sure she gets you what you need. They are a great team! I will never bring my girls anywhere else and once you go here you won't either! :)"

"I am a special educator with 15 years experience however, when my own son started to demonstrate a need for a diagnosis and services I had no idea what to do. I was frozen with concern, unsure of where to turn first. Do I trust my local school district to evaluate or do I go to a doctor? How do I begin? What is the right thing to do? I called Dr. Smoller. At the time we were still dealing with the aftermath of Covid and the wait to see a developmental pediatrician was very long. They promised that if a cancellation happened they would call me. Every time I have a question, Morgan's email response is quick, their appointments are thorough and never rushed. I feel heard as a mom and my child is a person, not a statistic, not just a diagnosis. I can not recommend this practice more, the care, the staff- absolutely exceptional humans and professionals."
