"I came to Dr.tan as a last minutes visit. My pediatrician at that time was refusing me if I didn’t have appointment in advance. Dr. Tan checked my baby, answered my list of questions with patience. He takes appointments and also walk ins. He gives his personal cell phone number and goes out of his way for my child. I had to change insurance just so We could come back and switch to him. My baby is 15 months old and as for now, we could not be happier with him."

"Dr. Tan is very dismissive and with a big attitude. It doesn’t sit right with me how quick he is when I’m trying to explain my worries concerning my child it frustrates me to feel rushed. He needs to do better especially with someone answering the phone and being more available during the days"

"My child has been with Dr. Tan since birth. I used to love Dr. Tan until I noticed every time my child is sick, it’s “just a cold”. My son has seasonal allergies and it gets really bad in the winter. Recently my child caught a stomach bug which progressed into something worse resulting in recurring fevers, loss of appetite and a chest infection. I took him to Dr. Tan and he told me “ it’s a cold, he’s going to be like this until March.” He’s given me that same line since my child was 1 y/o ( that’s when the allergies began ). Majority of the time he’s gotten better. Except this time he’s been for 2 weeks; loss of appetite and fever for 2 weeks and you expect me to let it slide like it’s a cold? No! I switched pediatricians, to Union County Pediatrics Group and I love it! They did bloodwork, swab tests for flu and strep, and she gave me a referral for a chest X-ray being that my child has a small infection in his chest. The doctor prescribed antibiotics and cough syrup and due for a follow up in a week for test results. My child has never been THIS sick and I’m happy that the UCPG took extra measurements to try to figure out what’s wrong with my baby unlike Dr. Tan. I am HIGHLY displeased with his services and do not recommend this doctor. Id also like to mention I am not the only parent who has literally the same complaints as I do as well as the fact that he’s only opened 3 days out of the week."
