"She was there at my delivery for both my sons. She was my boys doctor until they reached 18 yrs old. After that they had to go to a adult doctor and they refuses to go. Lol but they got over it. Now my oldest son is 28 and my youngest is going to be 25 2mw and they still talk about her. Wen they have there own kids they will be taking them to her. All 3 doctors r excellent"
"Dr. Santiago herself is incredible. My daughter has been seeing her for 3 years -- since birth. Unfortunately, I will be switching to another pediatrician due to the office staff. I've had multiple issues with appointments, scheduling, and just speaking to the staff In general is always unpleasant. They've made appointments that I've shown up to just for me to take off of work, drive there, and be told there was a scheduling error and I can't be seen. Ive also made vaccination appointments based on their timeliness recommendations just to show up and ve turned away because the shots needed to ve take further apart. Most recently they scheduled her appt with another doctor in the practice for her check up. When they called the day before to confirm I stated that was not her doctor. They confirmed her chart does list dr Santiago as her pediatrician but told me I should have made sure when scheduling. She then told me I would have to schedule for a different week to see Dr. Santiago. The receptionist in no way willing to work with me on the matter. Meanwhile I had to take off of work for this appt. They always seem to be having a bad day over there but this time she seemed extra bothered -- As if I had no right to bring up the issue at all. She became confrontational saying I was raising my voice which I was not. I eventually just told her this was not the first issue I've had with them and I would be switching her pediatrician to which she responded by yelling "BYE". I know what it's like to be a receptionist, I've been one myself for a doctor's office. Mistakes happen I get it which is why i've gone with the flow every time something had happened. But enough is enough already -- for them to continuously expect you to rearrange your schedule due to their errors and then become aggravated when you finally say something about it -- I've just had it. Sad to be leaving Dr. Santiago, she truly is a wonderful doctor but they need to do something about their office staff."
"This is my absolute favorite doctor in the whole entire world. I wish I can see her as an adult. She is the best. She listens, always is caring, and answers all your questions. When I have children I hope she is still practicing! I love you Dr. Santiago!"
"We had a terrible experience with this group. My son was hospitalized, and when he was being discharged, the hospital doctor spoke with Dr. Santiago to confirm that she would see him the next day to continue pain management. She agreed, but then, the next day, refused to see him and told us to give him tylenol. He had been on IV morphine in the hospital, and the hospital only discharged him because she agreed to appropriately control his pain. She abandoned him as a patient when he needed her the most."
