"The lady behind the counter i believe her name was Gigi was unbelievably patient and helpful. Some crazy women was jelous of her good life and was abusive to her in the store. I cant believe the composure Gigi showed. We need to treat counter workers better"

"EDIT: I've noticed that there are a lot of reviews to this 7-11 from accounts that only have one review. Seems to me like they are getting people to sign up for google just to create extra reviews to bring up the average rating. I think it's very sad that rather than fixing the issue which is the fact that even if she has a few regulars that she likes, Gigi is generally mean, you don't get this many 1 star reviews by being a genuine, likable person. Shame on you management for trying to hide this fact rather than dealing with the root of the issue. Original Review 7-elevens are supposed to be consistent and convenient. I was buying two drinks that were advertised as buy two get $2 off. The lady working the counter tried charging me full price. I informed her that they were supposed to be cheaper. She begrudgingly took the money off and charged me the right price. While my card was being charged, I made a joke that "Those two dollars are important." The lady behind the counter indignantly said, "I don't care, now leave." I get that people have bad days, but the store wasn't crowded and you're in the service industry. You don't get mad at customers for trying to utilize deals that your parent company puts out. Needless to say, I left and I will never be returning. The 7-Eleven near Jose's Sea Girt is waaaay better!"

"I go here every morning and Jiji is so friendly that she makes going there a pleasure. Working in customer service myself it is wonderful to get what you yourself give."

"Try not to catch “Gigi” when she has a break coming up. Couldn’t wait three seconds for the 7-11 app to load despite its very heavy promotion throughout the store.. mumbled something about a lunch break (sorry, not my fault). The credit card terminal was then too slow for her. Rudely asked why I didn’t have cash and then mumbled something in Hindi when I told her I only have a card. Not even the first time I’ve experienced a bit of rudeness from her. Don’t be fooled by her fake niceness as her inner you-know-what can come out at a moment’s notice. Everyone else who works there has always been pleasant, so just try to visit when Gigi isn’t working."
