"I have been attending Verona Pediatrics since my son was born in 2015 he is now 4 years old and my daughter is 2 months old, I have not had any issues with billing, if you call them and have concerns about your child they will tell you to come in and they will monitor your baby/child depending on the situation. I love their attention, If I am there for a checkup with my newborn they will try their best to get us in a room so that we are not waiting in the waiting area in order to prevent the spread of germs. We also like the nurses and I have seen just about every doctor there, Dr. Mallon, Dr. Prestigiacomo, Dr. Neilsen and Dr. Streider, they are all great. I love that when I call with a concern they get you in as soon as possible I never have to wait days to be seen and I rarely wait long to be seen. The only thing I would say is a draw back is that I have to pay $5 dollars for a school form to be filled out but that is not a major issue for me. I would definitely recommend them."
"If there was a 0 star, I will leave that instead of the 1. I have never encounter an office where they wouldn't take a patient, I have seen a doctor who was on another office for the last 13 years, she now moved to Verona Pediatrics and it is unfortunate that due to unefficiency of the other office I am unable to have my daughter be seeing there because they need records. What more record can you get if my daughter has been seen by one doctor her whole life. Horrible experience, Staff need to learn to follow directions. I will get my records believe me, but I will never step a foot in this office. One ungry mom."
"Nothing but great things to say about Verona Pediatrics! Dr Mallon is my favorite but all the doctors are highly qualified and make me feel confident in their care. We recently had to move away and I really miss this practice!"
"Verona pediatrics has provided care for my two daughters for several years now. I left two other practices prior to finding them. I have been extremely happy with the level of care and compassion I have found from all members of the staff. I am in the medical field myself and can recognize high quality and these doctors are fantastic. As an added bonus my girls actually love visiting the office which puts less stress on me not having to drag them in there! Highly recommend!!"
"I was one of this practice’s greatest advocates for 10 years. Dr Mallon saw my family through everything from nursing woes to viruses of all kind. This summer my son got sick and we saw Dr Nielsen several times in one week. When the bills came in we saw some discrepancies and had questions. We called the billing company and asked why are the visits different prices? Why did it take 3 visits to treat him? There was no foul language or yelling. We were told the office would call us but instead we received a letter saying they no longer want us as patients. Just like that. The NJ state board allows doctors to dismiss patients if they are abusive or threatening but we were neither. We are allowed to be frustrated and ask questions and this is the first time we ever did so. We’ve been with them for all this time and never uttered a single dissenting phrase or opinion. We’re never even been late to an appointment! A phone call, some information was all we needed. I called them and was told that Dr Nielsen felt “accused.” Accused of what? I’m truly hurt because after 10 years of care, my family doesn’t matter. They don’t want my business -my children. We didn’t even deserve a phone call, just a dismissal. Maybe I’m learning a harsh lesson but I’ve never heard of anyone in medicine refusing to care for a family because they felt insulted by a line of questions asked of their billing company. I regret no longer being able to recommend this practice."
