"Dr. Albanese and staff are wonderful. We chose Dr. Albanese as my husband and brother-in-law went to him throughout their entire childhood. My son and nephew now go to him and have had nothing but great experiences! He is an old school doctor - tells it like it is and doesn't diagnose your child with something right off of the bat. He has been doing his job for many years and has the experience to prove it. We appreciate his directness and honesty and even then, he does so with some humor sprinkled in. As new parents, he has never made us feel like we're overly concerned for our son's health and listens to every question we have before giving his response. He takes his time with you during your appointment. The nurses and front desk women are also very pleasant and helpful. We travel an average of 30 minutes to see Dr Albanese and will continue to go to him. If you're looking for a doctor who is direct and honest, doesn't push a medicine for every little thing, takes his time with his patients and throws in a little humor here and there, then Dr. Albanese is a pediatrician worth checking out."

"0 STARS ... STAY AWAY ... Front Desk staff is very rude and not welcoming ... Dr Albanese himself has NO bedside manner, nor friendliness, shows little caring - all qualities you expect from your pediatrician ... He cuts you off when speaking, he treats everything matter of factly and routine, and when your child has something that is concerning - he shrugs it off and makes you feel like an idiot for asking a question about your infant's health. Called his service on an emergency, he quickly just said to go to the Emergency Room and hangs up the phone. We went to his office the next day and he didn't acknowledge us at all, he didn't lift his head from the front desk ,he didn't ask about how our child was feeling - NOTHING ... he sent his partner physician to take care of us. When he was questioned, he stepped aside and pushed you to see a different doctor. I expect a lot more from my child's pediatrician and that is why we chose to leave Dr Albanese. Our advice is to see another one of the excellent physicians in the area."

"Dr. Albanese is the best! I have never met a doctor that displays such professionalism in a fun manner that makes the visit exciting for both the parent and child. I moved away from Essex county, ( not too far) but Dr. Albanese will always be my child's pediatrician until they tell us he is too old."
