"My disabled son has HHT. He had an appointment to see them but they called him and said his medcaid and Medicare weren't accepted. He can't afford what they wanted to charge him. Told he would have to try somewhere else."
"My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that metastasized to her bones and lymph nodes. She was weak and instead of preparing her for hospice and comfort care they pushed for her to get chemo. She had various appointments that she was in too much pain and too weak to even go to. I felt like they weren’t diligent enough. I felt like they knew how weak she was and that she wasn’t even going to make it to chemo but decided to push for it anyway. She ended up dying in the hospital about three weeks before she was suppose to get her port put in. They gave her the run around when they could have just made her last weeks comfortable."
"Misdiagnosed my fathers lung cancer. They did a biopsy on one lung and then literally just assumed he had cancer in his lymph nodes and other lung as well (PET scan showed nodules in both lungs). They were ready to start treatment, but we went to MD Anderson (Cooper) and they did all the proper tests. His lymph nodes and other lung are cancer-free, which gives him completely different treatment options."
"If I could give this less than 1 star I would. My mother was seeking treatment for her breast cancer at this facility. The doctor saw her, gave her scripts for medication and she needed to make a follow up appointment for her treatment. After the nurses never returned her call to schedule for her first treatment we went in to speak to them directly. They could not read the doctors handwriting and decided to schedule my mother for a chemotherapy treatment, IV lasting two hours. When my mother called back to speak to her doctor before treatment, she was told the doctor is out of the country and would not return until AFTER her first treatment. Thank God my mother cancelled her first treatment because her doctor never prescribed her for chemotherapy! Not only is this facility ignorant of all medical practices the nurses are rude. During our in person visit we could barely hear over the rap music coming from the nurses computer. My mother was almost negligently given chemotherapy treatments that were never prescribed by her doctor. If you have a loved one, go somewhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE!"
"As other have said before me and are correct avoid this place at all costs! They are so unorganized over there and you are just a number. My mother has lung cancer and her primary sent us there. Anyway the Dr's in there will give you one time frame for an appointment at the hospital for a scan or a port in your chest, etc. When you call to make an appointment it is completely different time frame. They don't even know who you are or why you are calling, so she could not even keep the follow up appointment. Before you know it a month goes by and nothing is accomplished. But when the Doctor gave my mom a prescription for pain and we went to get it filled the pharmacist said this is expired. We said no we just left there and here our Dr wrote the wrong month on the prescript. For pain meds you can't call it in so we would have had to go back to office. That was the last straw and we never went back. FYI we are now getting her care at Fox Chase and that place is amazing everything you will need for care is in one facility and they know who you are an they are expecting you every time. Good Luck to you and yours. Just to be clear I am reviewing the center in Sewell, NJ"
