"My wife tried to call Dr. Bell to make an appointment. No answer, left a voicemail. Waited a week. No response. I called on my wife's behalf to see if I had any better luck. Waited another week. Same result, no response. Wife called one more time, left another voicemail, same result again. I decided to drive to the office to see if this was even a legit practice. Got there around 11am on a Monday. Office door locked and no one appeared to be inside. Another week goes by, wife gets a call out of nowhere, which she's not able to answer, and it's Dr. Bell. So eventually after 3 weeks of waiting he called and left this voicemail for my wife apologizing for the fact he "wasn't accepting new patients at this time" and "I guess it would've been considerate of me to call and tell you that". So on the plus side at least he did "own" his poor service, and utter lack of communication skills, and utter lack of consideration for a potential patient. He also stated that "I just had an hour open up if you were still looking to see someone". We're going to respectfully decline that much delayed offer as first impressions are everything and she'd rather see someone that's at least 100% professional, punctual, and more mindful of their patients time."
