"This place taught me patience with other addicts, Matt L the alumni guy at STR is a stand up guy, he's laid back and has a true desire to see people get the help they need. Pete the therapist is another well rounded and good positive team member, there are some staff that may be it's early in their recovery to be working in this field but that is my opinion and not necessarily someone else's thought. The Nurse Practitioner I saw was an amazing woman, I could sit and talk with her for an hour or more and just vent, she's great at her job. All and all I had a small situation when I left which is why I gave 4 stars. There could have been some resolution or follow up on the part of the higher ups but I take some blame for the situation as well. All in all a great experience that helped me transition into being a productive member of society"

STR understands that and provides robust excellent support through programs. Addiction didn’t occur overnight. And neither does recovery.
