"The beach itself was very nice and clean, along with very clean and clear water, which was a nice surprise. Since the way the beach is designed, the waves were very nice and fun to ride on a board. Overall a great beach!"

"How do you put a rating on a piece of nature? Long Beach Island is one of our favorite places to visit at the shore and it's easy to access unlike other shore locations. It's always clean and beautiful, however sometimes parking can be a challenge. During the summer, a beach tag is required and the beach tag people will walk up-and-down the beach selling them. Depending on where you park and where you plant your beach umbrella, you might be fairly close to places to eat and get other necessary beach gear. We love LBI and will visit as often as we possibly can!"

"The beach is good, especially since it has been replenished. Only downside is that you have to pay for beach access each day. Have your beach tags or pay. So odd for someone being used to Southern California Beaches."
