"Following a shoulder replacement and a bicep repair, I was a patient at Professional Physical Therapy in the Riverdale section of The Bronx. My experience was remarkable. John, my primary physical therapist was outstanding. From my first visit, I knew I was working with a skilled professional and someone who cared. John guides you through each exercise in a very individualized program, ensuring proper execution, form, timing, etc. I swear he has eyes in the back of his head. I could be on the other side of the gym, while he's working with another patient and hear that dreadful tone, (lol, love you John) "Debbie straighten your arm; don't turn your body, your doing that too fast... He is a dedicated professional who cares about his patients' success. Their success is his success. I also had the pleasure of working with Christine, another physical therapist who works closely with John. She too is a consummate professional. Again, eyes in the back of her head, correcting my form and execution. I thought the stretching part of my program would be a little easier with Christine. Wrong, she stretched my shoulder into the next room. I yelled out a few expletives, but she kept right on going. The overall atmosphere in Professional Physical Therapy is so pleasant, giving you a feeling of belonging. Frankie and Kat, two physical therapy aides, help create this environment as well. They are also so pleasant and proactive. Each time you move on to another exercise, they're right there with whatever you need, helping to set things up, explaining things to you. They have such nice, supportive personalities. While you do feel a sense of comfortability, make no mistake, you're there to work toward healing and they see to that goal. If you're in need of physical therapy, trust me, this is where you want to be. Again, trust me, you'll be writing your own five star review, making this same recommendation to someone else. Thank you to all of you for making this such a positive experience. I'm still keeping up with the exercises at home and I'm back to my normal activities. Yaaaay!!"

"John Chillo at Professional Physical Therapy Riverdale is the best physical therapist that you will ever experience. He has the innate ability to know and feel your journey. He is methodical in his approach, strong and gentle when necessary. As the Clinical Director he is always checking your program, making tweaks when necessary. Even when you don’t think he’s watching he is aware of your posture and form so you maximize full muscle potential as you heal. In the beginning of my experience he talked me through trusting him. (Unknowingly, a very good therapist of a different sort). I had shoulder reconstruction. He had my full trust and confidence very quickly. I feel I’ve made amazing strides. John’s commitment to you and his love of his work becomes very evident for all to see.
