"Was feeling quite ill for over two weeks, finally took the time to schedule an appointment for a last minute MinuteClinic visit the morning of. Arrived on time, checked-in through the phone, was immediately called in for initial intake for vitals, etc. with the kindest most understanding lady (totally forgot her name). She made me feel like she knew exactly how I felt and what I was going through that I did not even have to elaborate my case. Was told the Nurse Practitioner will see me soon and to wait in the waiting area. Waited for probably five minutes as I saw the NP say goodbye to her patient, I was soon called in. Charmaine is the NP that treated me and I am truly writing the review for her. I am someone who would like an explanation and get educated on everything, even if I already know what they mean. Charmaine went above and beyond without the need for me to ask her to clarify. She explained to me step by step her treatment, performed the treatment, and went over her thought process. Ruling out this and that, and gave me several reasons why she is prescribing me the certain medications. Went over how to take the meds more than twice. It was a great experience and I felt like I was in good hands. I would total recommend going to the MinuteClinic. The pharmacy on the other hand, sort of wasted my time by not announcing my medication was ready (I heard names being called on the intercom, so assumed they would do the same for me.) Roamed around the store for quite some time until I finally walked back and asked. Not sure how long it was ready for. Overall, my experience was positive and Charmaine is top notch. Thank you."
"Been calling the pharmacy for a week. On hold for 10 minutes at a time. They obviously just don't pick up calls.....I thought the CVS on Rt 33 was the worst, but this one wins."
"I have waited 1 week to write this review hoping someone from corporate would get in touch with me; as they said they would, but sadly and as expected, that has NOT happened. First and foremost, this store (pharmacy) is an absolute disgrace. I arrived at this store at 5:58 PM for a 6:15 vaccine appointment for my young daughter. I clicked the check in button as texted to me and also went to the pharmacy personally and I was told they have my daughters information and to please sit down in the waiting area. The people waiting were even told an order by the pharmacist each time he opened the door to call in a new patient. Well, 43 minutes later my 7 year old’s name was finally called. When I went to the door, the pharmacist informed me that they no longer have said vaccine in stock (after waiting and being given no word that they did not have this vaccine.) The pharmacist who was providing the vaccines was very rude. He had salt and pepper hair and his badge said pharmacy manager. When I asked why CVS didn’t contact me in any way shape or form or why I wasn’t told when I walked in (instead of waiting 43 minutes with a nervous child) he just said he was sorry. He also informed me that the same thing happened to the people in front of me. He told me I could call customer service if I wanted to. First and foremost, I created this appointment a week earlier. Why didn’t you contact me if you did not have vaccines in stock? Why did you allow me to wait with a child? Do you not check your vaccine queue for the day? This makes me very nervous because it seems like you do not know what vaccines you give to who. How can it be that you didn’t know you were out of stock until I was called to the door? You have an entire check in process. I became very angry when I was informed of this, after waiting. As I was walking out of the store, I came across Travis (who happened to be very kind and helpful) who identified himself as a rising district leader. Although I was very angry because of the rude pharmacist, the dishonesty and disrespect of CVS, he got on the phone and tried to locate said vaccine at another location. During this time, I still had to wait with my child. He did locate the shot and I went to another location, but this should not have even had to happen. This entire process took hours!! The next day I proceeded to call corporate where I lodged a complaint and asked for a call back from the district or regional manager as I was informed that this is where they were sending the complaint to. Needless to say and as expected- this never happened. Morol of the story- This CVS does not care about their customers. They do not care about children. I would also be leery of ever getting a vaccine here as they made me wait and had no clue they did not have said vaccine when I made the appointment one week prior. I would also not trust the pharmacy manager. Travis- thanks for helping but you should bring your skill to another company where they have their act together. This place clearly does not."
"They are liars, plane and simple. Went to pick up my RX, noticed that the price was higher then it should have been. They told me my insurance paid partially for the RX and I should contact my insurance. So I paid for the RX and went home. Turns out my insurance rejected the claim because it required pre-authorization, and the pharmacist should have know it was rejected. Had I known it required pre-authorization I would have left the RX and called my doctor. But the pharmacist lied to me just to get me to pay for the RX and leave..."
"I received a automated phone call telling me that they have to replace my mother's medication with a different one and that this could take a few days. No reason was given us to why. I attempted to call the pharmacy 3 times. Each time I had to deal with getting through long menus before finally being put through to the pharmacy department. Each of the 3 times, I heard someone pick-up and then hang up on me! The only way to find out why they can't fill her current prescription would be to drive there to talk to someone in person."
