"Dr. Tufaro and his wonderful staff have helped me with three cats. The first was one I adopted that repeatedly attacked me and that Dr. Tufaro took the time to explain that this wasn’t a temporary or treatable condition. She was a mouser and couldn’t be a pet. I gave her back to the person I adopted her from. The second cat was a wonderful “skinny old man cat” I adopted at age 15 during the pandemic. Dr. Tufaro and the staff helped me every step of the way with trying different medications, doing the least invasive medical interventions, and offering suggestions by email, so I didn’t have to traumatize him by bringing him in as frequently as he needed help. When he broke my heart by developing liver cancer at age 17.5, they worked with me on giving him the most humane send-off, and were wonderfully compassionate to both of us. Now they are helping me with my latest kitty adoption. And I trust this will be an equally great experience. Dr. Tufaro has great integrity and a calm and reassuring demeanor and his staff members are equally lovely people. I whole-heartedly recommend this veterinary practice."

"this place neglected my kitten and made me seem crazy for worrying about their severe case.. in visits this vet was dismissive, rude, and agressive and with their ‘treatment’ my kitten never improved over a week.. when i brought my kitten to a real vet they treated my kitten with urgency and gentle care and my kitten was better overnight and has continued to thrive .. save your money and your animals by finding a different vet… i recommend heart of chelsea"
