"A very nice and large park in South Brooklyn"
"The landscape looks great, however, the vibes were a bit scary. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to go alone. I didn’t feel safe to keep walking inside alone even though it was in the afternoon!"
"Beautiful park located, of course, in the Marine Park section of Brooklyn. Circular bike & walking paths almost a mile in diameter. Park is designed so there are literally no obstructions from one end to the other; you can see clear across the grass. Handball, tennis, boche, pickle ball and basketball courts available. Playground for children. About a dozen softball fields in the center and surrounding area. Two large parking fields. A nature preserve and hiking trail directly across Avenue U, with a kayak launch. Many trees provide shade with a cool breeze if you want to sit and relax on one of the many benches provided. Bathrooms available. Nicely designed flower beds. Lots of people, families, kids and dogs roaming around. A very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon."
"Had a great time at the birds of prey show in Marine Park. It was educational & the birds was beautiful! Plus they're all rescues that were rehabilitated & unfortunately cannot be re-released into the wild. It is good to know that there are programs in the city that will not only mend these injured or sick birds, but continue to care for them for their while lives."
