"I received a kind note and response from Ode a la Rose, so i am upgrading my rating because they do care and i very much appreciate that - i would say call to place your order so you understand what you are going to receive. previous post “Pathetic and you have to assemble yourself. i should have gone to a bodega - which i will do because i am too embarrassed to give these. $158 for 24 roses (see my picture with water bottle for reference) but even worse again, (!) you have to assemble yourself. It does not come in the vase. Absolutely horrible! If I was the recipient of these flowers, I would be very depressed.”"

"I ordered a birthday bouquet for a family member who was visiting all the way from Africa. I was so excited when I saw on the site that you can include a photo to your gift and this will be free of charge. So I sent a photo of my sister and niece whom my sister is helping to raise just a cute pic since it was free. The bouquet was delivered to the hotel however, there was no picture which I wasn’t upset about even though it was a nice gesture from them but I was annoyed, why put something on your site that you do not offer or at least include up to business discretion so you do not have customers hope of this very cute offer. That wasn’t all now for the real reason for this review. The bouquet was delivered without the birthday note which infuriates me again my niece had came up with a really cute birthday note and that also was not included in the delivery. They ruined an amazing surprise we had for my sister and that’s is unforgivable like how can you not include the Birthday Note. So I called them and the person on the phone confirmed that my note was in the system and was very nonchalant and cold he didn’t seem to care that our surprise was ruined all he said was he can relay the message to their production team for next time (there will be no next time), no accountability or nothing, more like flowers were delivered and that’s your problem. I was so upset with that response! The bouquet itself was ok but missing a crucial step (which is including note) is very tacky and I do not recommend this place.! I did not want to leave a review but this bugged me so much I keep thinking about it and decided to warn others that something like this may happen to them. Livid writing this thinking about an amazing moment we wanted for my sister and an incompetent company ruined it."
