Wyanokie High Point

"High Point is accessible from several trails with all of them fairly rocky with some steep sections. Alltrails has good trail maps of the area. The view from the top is worth the climb."

"Great hike with nice viewpoints, small waterfalls, and streams. Very rocky terrain. 1. Reach early - parking near the Weis center will fit only like around 15 cars. I reached at 8 on a Saturday and there were a couple of cars, but when I returned post noon, it was full and people waiting for others to leave 2. Loop trail - we took the loop starting with green passing the pool and then going to blue to wyanokie High Point. Continued on blue to Carris Hill. Did yellow and white to Chikahoki falls. Did blue to otter hole. Then, I joined the green to get back to the parking. Took us at least 5 hours 3. View points - wyanokie High Point is great. Good views of skyline. Chikahoki Falls is a cute small waterfall. Even in green trail, we have good view points which are not named in the maps 4. Elevation and hardness - we felt it hard, especially because it's very rocky. Some areas are not very shady. 5. Wildlife - many people told us about two bears near the stream. But we didn't see."

"Beautiful overlook of the Manhattan skyline. The weather was perfect on the day of my hike so I took my time marveling at the view. Totally worth all the climbing up to the mountain top."
