"Blue trail to the peak, phenomenal hike. Challenging. Tons of boulders, rocks, roots makes for an engaging hike. Multiple lookout points, NYC skyline visible. If parking lot is full try the second one down the road and hike the red trail entrance to blue."
"Small lot which is just perfect for a trailhead. The lot says it's open on Google from 7am-8pm but the local police will give you a ticket if you park before 8am."
"It's a nice spot to hike and the falls sweet. However, like other posts stated, parking is limited and spillover onto the side of the road (which has plenty of space for parking) is a guaranteed ticket. I'd give this a hard pass as so many other parks exist that welcome visitors as opposed to ticketing those coming out for a good time."
"Nice trails with rocky terrain for those who are looking for a good hiking spot. We did the Blue trail including Hi-point on a medium pace covering 6.5 miles, 1250 ft elevation gain, in 5 hours. Chikahuki Falls was a great refreshing spot towards the end of our hike. Also, there are rat snakes in the park, we spotted one."
"WARNING: The local township is now ticketing people who cant find space to park in the TINY parking lots. DO NOT park along the roadway or you will get a $55 ticket. They are clearly trying to make money on this because there is a single sign for the entire stretch of road and it is turned sideways so you can't see it. The cop was also posted at the bottom of the hill just waiting for more people to park. There are 100's of other great hikes in the area. Skip this one and find one where they actually want people to visit and enjoy it."
