"They require 1-2 years experience with a company. Also they have the power to terminate and not rehire you, see photo attachments. This rules out temps that have started temping for 3-5 months at a time for years. In other words not be young or struggle with a disability and be ruled out. Discriminant in many ways to age and disability. They remain picky. Making it hard for certain workers is directly discriminating and their job postings need some editing. They ask for "at least 1- 2 years in a service organization" and this weeds out mainly temps and people like me who may have for years struggling to get back in. Lastly do not pay for taxis to show up to their assignments as they do not pay for those rides. They seem to kind of expect you to be there last second via taxi. And If laid off just file unemployment. 10/11/23 Edit: In response to my formal complaint to the State department of labor: this did not mention racial descrimination concerns as another review that was up dissapeared from appearing. Nothing was communicated prior that I was terminated on 11/19/21 for a fart complaint. That was never communicated to me. Following day reporting to the site I was told to go home and await a phone call and from there I was informed I was timed out, no mention if I was terminated and way. Lastly they do have the ability to not rehire you, as attached proof in my case. Keep asking for more uniforms as they do not provide enough. They do not understand how the job works, uniforms do get regularly dirty and wear down overtime. "I was place at the Avalon Riverview apartments in Long Island city queens and I encountered the worst of the worst foreman. GONI.. I had a sexual harassment case against him bc of all the abuse and exploitation I encountered. I had plenty of witnesses from the maintenance team at Avalon to the union itself and because GONI paid his way into the union they wouldn't even move a finger ! Yes these highly paying positions are paid for by them and they get to keep their jobs no matter the treatment of the other employees. T I kno the owner personally and I can say he's stuck up and way too young to run daddies company."

"I live at one of the properties managed by Guardian (on Broadway in Astoria) and the Super that covers my building (Billy Martin) is absolutely fantastic. Since I moved in about a year and a half ago, I have inundated Billy with questions and he has gone above and beyond in his responsiveness, professionalism, and he will always lend a helping hand when needed. I have been renting for the past 10 years or so between Boston and NYC, and I have never had a Super that has been as attentive, responsive, and helpful as Billy. Huge shoutout to Billy for all of his hard work and dedication, and shoutout to Guardian for hiring and retaining top talent."

"Working for Guardian under Michael Thompson, has been a absolute pleasure. He's has been one of the best managers I've had. Being as though there are so many employees and a million other things to handle he makes time to explain why things the way they are. If you have questions he'll find an answer. He's flexible with scheduling when it's necessary. He communicates and that's the most important thing to me working for anyone. As long as I've been working for this company, I have no complaints. I get paid on time, I get paid for any overtime. So the company does right by me."
