Dr. Marianne Digiovanni, DO

"Dr. Digiovanni has the worst bedside manner i’ve ever experienced. About 9 months ago I saw her for endometriosis since she was one of the few doctors covered by my insurance at the time. Mind you i’m 21 years old experienced passing out from severe pain and vomiting for 3+ months , and told I have a large cyst on my ovary that ruptured all prior to seeing her. She comes in, says she won’t do the procedure to remove cyst because i’m too young and to see a fertility specialist (not a bad recommendation) however, she proceeds to tell me that this is all NORMAL, pain is pain, and she didn’t know why I was even seeing her. It appeared she didn’t even bother to look at my chart or consult Dr. Huggins (works in the same office)who I had seen a month prior who stated she would do my surgery however wasn’t covered by my insurance. Bursted into tears at this appointment."

"I used to love it here. However I was recently pregnant and it was my first time. I started to have symptoms of a miscarriage and I couldn't get through to the office in Washington Township. Even after I went to the ER on a Sunday, that Monday when the office finally called me back 6 hours later they said they hadn't gotten my lab papers and they would call me back when they did if it was important. I continued to have symptoms of a miscarriage and continued to call the next day to see if they would let me come in to see the doctor and get an ultrasound. No one would answer or call me back. I finally called the Voorhees office and they said they could get me in the FOLLOWING Monday. Meanwhile my symptoms got worse and at that point my intuition was I had the miscarriage. I finally had a friend convince me to go to the ER again at Penn and they confirmed I had miscarried. This office never saw me or looked at me after the ER and severe symptoms until that following Monday when I went to the Voorhees office for my appointment. I had to tell the doctor what happened and I never want this to happen to anyone else. I should have been seen that week and heard."

"Very good doctors and nice staff but it’s like pulling teeth to try and get a hold of someone over the phone or get a call back. Very frustrating when you have an actual issue you need meds for."

"Worst experience of my life with this Dr. I had to have an emergency ectopic removal and she was the one on call. I had seen her multiple times previously for regular visits. Before my surgery, she showed little to no sympathy and was very short. At my post-op visit I expressed to her how sad I was about my loss and her response was ‘it wasn’t really a baby’. I went to her office for years, after that I was done. 0 stars should be an option."

"I have been going to Dr. D for 20 years, and she is just a really GOOD doctor who is very on top of things. She also an excellent surgeon."
