"We worked with Howard on our 2020 tax return - that year we moved from California to New York, and had liquidated stocks. Our experience with Howard was horrible; he was rude, impatient, and continuously gave us unsolicited financial advice. We tolerated him because we thought he would at least get the job done. Not until when we were filing our 2021 tax return we found out that Howard miscalculated part of our 2020 tax. When We followed up with him because my current CPA asked for missing documents, he called my CPA a 'loser' for accusing him for misfiling. When I gave him the exact document that was missing, he then went on radio silence. We later on got ANOTHER CPA to look at our 2020 tax return, and this CPA again CONFIRMED Howard has missed a document. Because of Howard's mistake and our inability to get the document, multiple CPAs refused to work with us. We called and emailed him multiple times, and he continued to ignore our requests. Howard was unprofessional, clearly made a mistake and did not attempt to fix it. I would not recommend him to anyone. Save yourself from repeating the same mistake as ours."
