"I waited 40 minutes for my appointment, no one at the branch acknowledged I was there. A CPA finally came out to tell me they can't take any more appointments today because some system is down? Not sure how true that was because they successfully completed an appointment before me. Regardless, assuming there was an IT issue, why not tell me and another customer who also waited 40 mins for their appointment? I would have been happy to leave and try again on another day, just be transparent if you’re having issues, but nothing. Staff did not acknowledge the voiced concerns from me and the other customer, seemed entirely uncaring about the wait and did not offer rescheduling options. Based on this experience I won't be using H&R Block tax services again."

"Look let me say something I didn't write my review yet about H.R & Block. I had been very busy trying to do my taxes by myself, all right . I had contacted one of the offices of H R & Block around the city, and I had spoken with 3 persons ,by phone. The conversation I had there , who answered that inquire , I don't recall, that day. And the first Lady daisy, she couldn't help me, and transferred the call to another person. I explained Evy again , for what I need help with my taxes. After I had explained all what I was looking for help. And after I answered all the question , that lady told me they cannot help me, and I better find someone to help me, doing my taxes.. Maybe my returns is not that kind , they want to prepare, or something else, and the dont want to get involved to filed up . No problem, I move forward. And also I can give them, how many star's I want too give here. It's the second time I got disappointed with them. I wish them good luck and God Bless all of us..."

"I recently moved to New York and knew that I needed help with my taxes so I decided to file with H&R Black. Madou Guira was the professional who filed my taxes and I really enjoyed working with him. He was very though and explained everything to me. His services were efficient, accurate, and I would definitely go to him again."

"I made an appointment with Cheryl to have my taxes done. Upon my arrival, I was told that I should come back in about an hour as they were running behind. I returned one hour later to no one to greet me. I waited about 10 minutes before I was acknowledged and told they were still running behind and that I should wait. Another couple walked in with no appointment and was taken back immediately to be helped. I waited 2 hours (with an appointment) and was never helped. I walked out without anyone helping me today. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service here."
