"I recently had a deeply concerning experience at this medical practice that compelled me to leave this review. I saw Dr. Philips for a routine exam during which I became seriously ill and hit my head. She left me in the room alone and was completely negligent. The standard of care here is so poor that I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I went through. I strongly caution others seeking medical care here."

"I really like my doctor, but it’s worth mentioning that the receptionists and one of the nurses are pretty rude. One of the nurses doesn’t even look at me or talk to me when we are interacting. Once, when she was doing bloodwork on me, she was so distracted when she took the needle out and wasn’t even watching when she pulled the needle out and caught my skin. I want to like it here, but I’m doubtful I’ll stay to deliver my baby because these interactions are so unpleasant. I know they’re just trying to do their job, but having a baby is a scary and vulnerable experience where you want to feel secure with your provider and the people they trust their patients with. The doctors really are very good, so if a warm and welcoming experience from everyone else doesn’t matter to you, then this place is great. I just think it is a shame how unpleasant it can be and it gives me a lot of anxiety and I find it difficult to trust the practice. I’m sure they deal with rude patients sometimes which is why they’re like this, however it’s actually distressing. My therapist keeps asking me, “what will you do when there’s a complication? If you have questions for the nurse? Or the receptionist? And they dismiss you?” Yes, I talk to my therapist about this because I truly don’t understand why they’re like this. Also, just watch out for billing. For some reason, they don’t submit our insurance when lab tests are done. Each time I’ve had stuff done, I’ve had bills come in for $$$$$, and then I have to submit it separately, but it’s a hassle, and if I was younger who didn’t know better, I may have just paid the bill. Doctor is a five star. Overall experience is a one."
