24 Hour Fitness

"Serious hygiene and safety concerns. I got a 'free 3 day pass' online and went to this gym. The front desk worker told me repeatedly I needed to pay $25. This was not true. I was told to wait near garbage (see photo) for the manager. The manager said I did not need to pay, the pass was free. While I was speaking with the manager the original employee was laughing at me! Then he told me since my ID was out of state I likely need to pay (but he waived the fee). I went to the locker room and none of the locks on the lockers work. There was a used tampon in the shower. The lifeguard for the pool was wearing an earphone. She told me she wears one in case her phone rings. Nothing about this establishment was hygienic or safe."

"Great gym.. the staff are friendly. The manager Augustus was very helpful when I was signing up.. answered my questions and made me feel Comfortable. The place looks clean and saw workers consistently cleaning which is great. Glad I found my go to gym for 2024."

"I've been hitting the gym for 18 years of my life, and I'm thankful to have a gym near Bergen County, NJ that lives up to its name of 24-hour fitness. Sure, there are some people concerned about broken machines and cleanliness issues, but when you're a gym bro, you appreciate the fact that this place is open around the clock. The gym has a ton of free weights, cardio machines, leveled benches, and some decent cable machines – literally, everything you need for a great workout. Also, for those that ball out, the courts are open 24 hours – good luck finding that anywhere else in NJ. Plus, there's a 24-hour shop to get your protein in. Not too bad! I'm giving this spot a solid 4 because, let's be real, it definitely could use a custodian doing the dirty work during the quieter times. My suggestions are 2-6 am, 10-2 pm, and 8-12 am. Sure, I'd love the sauna and jacuzzi to be open longer, but hey, that's a personal concern. Today's chest pump was on point, and I'll definitely be back!"

"Lockers broken, wet clothes dryer broken, never soap in the dispenser, TRASH EVERYWHERE. I literally see the night staff walking around the gym doing rounds and ignoring the trash everywhere. This is proof. I can’t wait for my 1 year membership to end so I can go to a different establishment than this dump. The staff doesn’t replace the weights or put them back where they belong. It’s scattered everywhere! They’re really sweet and nice but I can’t really workout in such a dirty gym. This is not the way an establishment should conduct itself. Just keep the gym clean & retail the weights. As people who are literally paying to come here, that’s not asking for a lot."

"Went in with a membership deal and was told they wouldn’t honor the email, got the email honored at Ramsey. Most of the time, the gym is great. The basketball court is clean but I recommend bringing your own ball. Sauna, pool and steam room are clean. Gym can get packed and equipment may be found broken but it’s usually fixed in time and ready to use."
