My friend purchased a Shih Tzu puppy from them. -she asked multiple times to see the parents but was told NO every time she asked- I wish she realized that was a HUGE warning sign -BUT she feel IN LOVE with the puppy - Her and the puppy were always together. The puppy started getting sick and contacted Smoke Hallow - they seems to not have any cares or worries - She brought the puppy to her vet and was told PARVOVIRUS- puppy died and they still WONT except responsibility. Please please DO NOT BUY FROM THESE ANIMALS!!! We are HEARTBROKEN of the loss -"

"We came to get one Shih Tzu puppy but there were 2 siblings left, a boy and a girl and we took both and have never regretted it!! They had shot and worming records and besides a bit of initial tummy upset, they were happy and healthy. They are now a year old and beloved members of our family!! Thanks, Doreen!!"

"I purchased a shih Tzu from Doreen 5 years ago. I came all the way from Philadelphia with my Aunt from New Jersey. The puppies we came to see we end up not getting but Doreen had other puppies and once I saw them I fell in love with my baby I call Butter. Mu aunt also received a puppy and her name is Molly. We purchased the puppies 11/2013. I have not stop smiling since. I love my dog so much and she has been a joy without any health complications, etc. I am writing this review to thank Doreen for being so nice and accommodating to my and my Aunt. "I should have reviewed and listened to others when considering to do business with these people. Please be cautious. I purchased a puppy, shih tzu. Well the family and the kids really loved her and she was just the cutest thing. About a week after purchasing my son brought to my attention that she was not breathing correctly. I have decades of experience with raising dogs and have never seen anything like this. The poor puppy went from breathing hard to minutes later dying in my arms. What a terrible experience that was for my family and my 3 boys. Not only did we lose her, but we were out the $450 dollars that the lady had charged me for her. I should have know when I picked her up that she wasn’t healthy. She did have some mucus around her facial areas which was a sure sign. I asked specifically, “is she healthy”? And of course they replied yes she is. Well she’s was not healthy obviously. I had her dead body examined by the veterinarian and it was determined that she had a growth in her stomach area. I did attempt to contact the farm when this happened but they were not helpful at all, telling me there was nothing that could be done. I cried, and cried, and so did the kids. I am still bitter about this situation and would like for the farm to make good on their business arrangements. I paid $450, which I wondered why the price was so reasonable, I exchange for a puppy. My family isn’t now left in tears with a really tragic experience and no puppy. Sad. Really sad. Caution. They do not care about their word and will lie to you! Should have read the review. This isn’t probably the second or third review I’ve ever given for bad service but this isn’t serious."
