"Just called to check my on fathers pain meds. Whom is about to get his leg amputated due to a horrible accident… and they kept on disconnecting the phone when I pressed 3 to speak to the staff. So me that works at a dental office that falls in scripts all day. I press 4 saying that I am calling from a doctors office and magic it worked. But I didn’t answer in the .5 seconds she said hello. And she hung up. So I did it again… explained that I think the option to speak to pharmacy staff is not working correctly. And I am in a rush to get my dads meds before I go to work and he is hurting all day until I get out. She put me on hold with out letting me know. And then she just cut me off and asked for the date of birth… asked what scripts I needed I said Ed whatever is ready or going to be ready by 10. She said nothing is ready for him. I the. Asked okay but is there anything called in for him? Will anything be ready? Yeah but not till later. Okay thank you lady for all your help. All I have to say.. is if you are not understanding people are sick or in pain.. and can’t seem to be a little helpful in the situation and hate your job that much.. you should probably find a new one! Wish my father can switch. And I will be going there to pick it up later.. and find out who I talked to! I work with people in pain who hate coming to see me everyday, I would never ever treat anyone like this! I would rate this place a negative five stars if a could !!"
"Please do something about your incompetent and ignorant pharmacy staff. This is the third time I've been here to simply drop off a prescription and was completely ignored by both people behind the counter who proceeded to serve customers who arrived well after me while I stood here tapping my foot and finally leaving after 20 minutes of this. They're rude, disrespectful, and a slap in the face to the concept of customer service."
"Male Pharmacist evening nov 16 2021. Certainly not your family friendly pharmacist. Unprofessional no interest in helping. Did not even pretend to care. I had this experience once before and should have known better. This time I at least recorded it. Kate at the front register is very nice."
"I traveled from Toms River to Port Monmouth for my first Moderna shot. The doctor(amazing woman), the two ladies, and one gentleman at the pharmacy were helpful. It was a pleasant experience. My second shot in this Wednesday. I must add: this is a Rite Aid that looks inviting -- organized, well-lit, clean, etc."
"I have always enjoyed coming to a store that maintains a totally pleasant environment. The store is always immaculate, the regular staff are knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and they always go above and beyond making sure that you have had a good experience in their store. My only grip about this location is with the upper pharmacy management, specifically the district level. They constantly flood this location with people who do not “know” the stores regular customers. They fail to interpret a simply written prescription that no other pharmacist has an issue with. I cane in today to a pharmacy with another fill-in pharmacist, the area didn’t even look like it was open with security gates barely opened. I spent 28 minutes waiting for her on the phone while dealing with another customer. Then another 18 minutes with her trying to find my prescription. The district management needs to STOP sending incompetent people into a well running store. This mismatch of people causes others to think it is the store running badly when in actuality it is the poor judgement of the district manager."
