"Excellent experience! Our regular vet is unavailable at the moment and we needed our cat to be seen quickly. Took him to one animal hospital - disappointed, no bedside manner, no diagnosis, hours of waiting, bill was outrageous - cat was no better after. Prescribed anxiety meds, cat is not nervous or anxious. At Middletown, able to get appointment next day, receptionist was professional and empathetic, the doctor truly listened and we were able to be with our cat throughout the examination. The doctor thoroughly explained what might be going on, ruling out other things and included us in the decision-making about treatment. Although it is always expensive to take a pet to the vet, the charges were comparatively reasonable and they were well worth it! Our cat is on the mend, feeling much better now.
