Reviews
"I hate to write this review when the small pet doctor was very kind and knowledgeable. However, I will write about the front desk employees. My guinea pig of seven years sadly passed away. I brought his body in a box to the hospital for the cremation process. My family and I were sobbing as we were given forms with no sympathy at all. The waiting area was fully PACKED, and I had to ask the front desk MYSELF for a private room while filling out the forms and carrying the box. I thought this day was a one-off, but unfortunately, it was not the case. I went to pick his ashes up a few days later. When I arrive, there are two ladies on the phone and a younger guy. He asks how he can help me, so I tell him I'm here to pick up my passed on pet. The lady on the phone doesn't flinch and passes the bag to me without saying anything. At this point, I was shocked and asked if I needed to do anything else. They said no, and I was on my way. This whole interaction took not even two minutes. I am very saddened by this. Especially when I had brought him there a week before his death. I know they are probably very used to pet losses, but not one front desk employee gave me their condolences and barely an ounce of empathy. I was looking forward to making this my preferred vet hospital for my other two pets but I will not return because of this."
"Excellent serviceeee, i took my little Bella few weeks ago, and they were awesome, very patience with her. The doctor and staff are really good. Specially they explain everything and good prices"
"four years ago, I had been happy with the service I had received with the hospital, but my recent experience changed that so I am revising my review. My elderly cat was not eating and this is what transpired with the hospital: 1. they were unable to let us come on emergency basis and we waited another week before my sick cat was seen 2. they drawl blood and provided a medication that was not meant for cats. a dog medicine for appetite stimulation, which cause my cat to have multiple seizures 3. since the seizure, my cat's health changed drastically, she suffered muscular skeletal injuries and hit her head multiple times against the floor and furniture. She also become more incoherent. 4. I believe the medication should not have been given to an elderly cat (blood test show her health was ok at the time, no organ damages during the initial visit) with weak constitution, which significant worsen her health, she died two week after the visit. 5. the hospital failed to follow up after given such as strong medication, after the cat was ill for a week prior to the visit. 6. they would not provide the care in front of me, which make me suspect they had something to hide, by making me stay in the waiting room while they attend to my pet. 7. I would have objected to the medication if the harm and benefits were explained to me. 8. The bill for expensive for all these treatments, which would be justified, if my cat benefited from the care, instead of the harm. In sum, if this would not have occur to a human patient, as a healthcare practitioner myself."
"Two weeks ago, we put my beloved, thirteen-year old Bruno down. It was by far the worst experience my family and I have ever been through. He was more than a dog, he was our little family member. Everything happened so quickly. Dr. Bravo fit us in at the last minute and gave us as much time as we needed with our big, fluffy, fur ball. When the time came, Dr. Bravo and his staff were very informative, patient, and compassionate. While we held onto Bruno as he passed, I thought, "If only I had something to commemorate his paw prints with." But alas, everything happened so quickly with no time to prepare. Dr. Bravo's staff gave us a little bag that we were able to collect some of Bruno's fur with. Flash forward two weeks, and I received a beautiful card from Animal Paradise Hospital with Bruno's little paw prints inside. This was so thoughtful and brought happy tears to my eyes. The entire family loved this gesture. It will be framed and placed under Bruno's portrait that I have commissioned and his ashes. Thank you, Dr. Bravo and Animal Paradise Hospital!"
"I just moved to the neighborhood and came here because I saw good reviews. Sufficient to say I will not be coming back here again. I took my cat for a blood test. 1) the wound looks bigger than what I would expect from a blood test. His entire leg was wet and there was still left over blood at the wound. But most importantly, they did not even bother to put on a bandage and just sent him back licking his own wound! 2) we spent an hour in one of their exam rooms for the blood test. They must have some kind of diffuser in the room that gives the room a VERY strong smell. I can’t even breathe in their as a human so I can’t imagine how dogs and cats who are so sensitive to smells are doing there. It can not be good for their health and I’m surprised to see such a thing in an animal hospital. 3) they have some quite big birds in the lobby which can startle some cats and dogs. Honestly the whole place feels quite unprofessional and not so thoughtful for animals. I would recommend looking at other places."
