"RK Kia service department can’t be trusted. I took my 2016 Kia Sorento in for an oil change and to inspect the code that was currently active. After receiving the vehicle, they found two warranty recalls. One for the front axle and another related to the tow wiring. They completed the oil change and the axle recall. They said there wasn’t any fix recommended for the tow wiring at this time. We picked the vehicle up and they said the engine code was not active when the tech looked at the vehicle (code was active when we pulled in). They recommended bringing the vehicle back if the code returned. The code returned about 10 minutes after leaving RK Kia. I didn’t have time to return the vehicle for service at the time due to work scheduling. When I got the vehicle home, I observed a panel on the hatch door was missing, and when opening the door there was a sound of a loose screw rolling around. The vehicle was scheduled to go back in for service and I figured this would be addressed when we dropped it off. That was a bad assumption on my part. When we took the vehicle in to address the code, they informed us that we would have to be $150 service charge to look at the code, which was expected. Then they said there would be an additional $150 to look at the missing cover on the rear door. Why would I pay to service the rear door when the cover was taken off and not put back by the service tech. I would not take your vehicle to this location; they cannot be trusted. They didn’t even ask the tech if he saw an extra cover. See the image below. I plan to reach out the corporate office to share the same story. It may not mean anything today, but having it recorded may help them address the issues at the location."
"Schedule my appt through the app. They were super helpful when I needed to reschedule. When I got there, my appointment wasn't in the computer. They were really nice about it. I overheard someone telling another customer recall appointments tend to glitch. Even so I had no issues. My shuttle driver was super friendly and very kind. Overall I had a really good experience here!"
