Reviews
"A review from a tech enthusiast I've gone to this place twice and I don't plan on returning again. TLDR: Don't trust these guys to do a very good job. These guys will try to squeeze every last penny out of you for minimal or even no work. The first time, I wanted to install an HDD caddy in my old laptop, but I was having issues. Their solution was to grab a brand new HDD caddy from their stock, move a few drives around, reinstall Windows, and make me pay for all of that. Internally, they did a really sloppy job installing the HDD caddy and even left the plastic on, which could actually affect that laptop's cooling performance. Seriously? In that massive bill, I was also charged $50 for a Windows license I didn't ask for, which they actually implied was torrented (stolen). Then, with my new PC, my GPU randomly shut down overnight and refused to work properly ever since. The PC simply wouldn't boot up if the GPU is plugged in. Now, I gave these guys another chance because I was worried that my $400+ GPU was dead. I only asked them to check if the GPU worked in their PC and made sure to specify that I want nothing else. They take it in. Days later, we're told it works fine and asked for $55. That's a lot for what is supposed to take about 5 minutes, but whatever. They also claim to have repasted the GPU, but I find it funny how the warranty stickers covering the screws seem to have not been affected by their "repasting" job. Anyway, with them claiming that my GPU was working just fine and it was an issue on my end, I spent months troubleshooting my PC. I've tried: -Replacing PSU cables -Changing PCIE slots -Removing PSU cable extensions -Reinstalling GPU drivers -Changing video output cables -Testing another monitor -Replacing the *whole motherboard* ...and more Nothing works. It is still facing the same issue it had before. The last thing I can possibly think of being the issue is the PSU, which is less than a year old and works fine with all the other PC components. (I'm going to another repair shop to have genuine verification as to whether or not the GPU is still alive before I possibly RMA the PSU) So, to be a good repair technician, you must be skilled and trustworthy. Your customers have to trust you with their sensitive devices and that you will at least attempt to fix it. I don't see either of these traits in uCrackiFix. Take care, y'all. God bless ❤️✝️."
