"Our family had been taking our cars here for around 25 years. The service has significantly went downhill and they have caused catastrophic failures to some of our cars within the last few years as well as some friends and family's vehicles. Most recently we took our 2004 Suzuki XL7 (barely driven at only around 120k miles) here for a gasket repair that required removing the upper intake manifold. Upon receiving the car back, the next day a ton of smoke was blowing out from the exhaust pipe. I immediately called to let them know and the mechanic told me "give it a few weeks to a month and if it is still blowing smoke bring it back in." This seemed like something that needed attention sooner than later so the car was brought in within a couple weeks at the most and they claimed that it was not blowing smoke when they started the vehicle. There was also a bolt that was sheared off from the engine cover in addition to a very bad rattling noise that was coming from the engine bay that the car previously never made. I emailed a video clip of the noise being made within the first couple days of getting the car back initially and never received a response. After further diagnosis it appears there is a hole through the oil pan that will either require the front axle to be removed or the engine pulled from the vehicle. This is a costly repair that we should not be responsible for and frankly just don't have the money for. Now the car has barely any low end torque in addition to the oil burning and engine rattle and it will probably only be a matter of time before the car dies. Depressing to say the least since otherwise this was always one of our more reliable vehicles. We used to love dealing with Jim and Bill in the past and they were always very honest, friendly and professional. Unfortunately after this experience we will be forced to look for a new mechanic."

"Coming from a younger mechanic these guys are professional and honest had my civic sitting in my garage for 5 months stumped on a vacuum leak and couldn’t find the issue without having a smoke tester or the right equipment. I got a call 3 hours later while I was asleep because I work night shift later that night at work was worried my car would have been outside because it was one of the worst storms this summer and didn’t have a windshield or hood on the car as it’s going in for paint soon. Called up the next day come to see my car was dry and they kept it in the shop over night. Appreciate the honesty, communication and affordability appreciate the time and effort this shop has to offer would definitely bring another car back here if another diagnostic problem comes up.
