"***Beware of using this business for alterations.*** I liked the friendly service I received here, so I decided to have curtains hemmed due to my sewing machine being broken. I was told the alterations were done offsite, so there were unable to quote a price for the work. I was told I'd be called before the alterations were done to confirm the price. The curtains were simple, cotton, with a thin lining. I received no calls, so after I week, I began calling. After two weeks, I was called to say they were done. When I went to pick them up, I was told they would cost $50 a panel for the hem. The poor girl working there was so understanding and called the owner. He proceeded to be incredibly rude and venomous on the phone while another customer listened on with us. I could not justify paying $50 to sew a straight hem on a $30 curtain panel. Eventually, he accepted $20 a panel, which was still a lot for the work, but I wanted to be done with the situation. I had to go back to pick up my remaining dry cleaning at a later date, and he did apologize, but I could never stomach being spoken to in such a disrespectful manner, when he did not provide a quote before completing the work."

"Went to get Jacket altered, they did a good job correcting the sleeves where the manufacturer messed up. So we asked for the same place to sew on some patches, I expected good work just the same. I Was told a week to get patches on, when I went to pick it up the original day the ticket said, it wasn’t ready, fine, it’s holiday time. Two weeks time passes and this is how I received the jacket back, mediocre patch work, that will fall off if I don’t get it fixed within a few weeks of wear (which I will at a different place).Thanks for a waste of time and money! Won’t be returning."
