"I was in geek squad to fix my computer because I didn’t have the time. There is a guy named Con (short) that guy does not know too much. Con will try to con you by selling you useless things. He told me that he couldn’t fix my computer and I should just get a new one, well I just fixed it. Don’t get conned by the Con guy, he a noob."

"I have a service contract that is renewed yearly with the Geek Squad at Best Buy. I brought my laptop in because it would not charge. The charging port had become dislodged and could not be used. Best Buy had my computer for two months with just one update;my laptop had been sent out for the repair. After ten weeks I received an email that it was being sent back to the store. When they received it back at the store, I received a phone call that it was ready for pick up, but it was unable to be repaired. I was told they don't make the part anymore and they couldn't fix it. So they had it for ten weeks, and it couldn't be repaired. I was offered to buy a new computer with % off. I contemplated it since this laptop is eight years old. However, I brought the laptop to a small computer repair person who was able to repair the charging port by putting in a new one, and I had my laptop back in two days. I asked him if he had a spare part laying around, as I was told by the biggest computer repair in the state that they don't make this part anymore. This repair guy said, "no, it's a $25 part, I ordered it and put it in." Thus saving me from a large purchase, but more importantly,saving me from lies for the sole purpose of making it look like, buying a new expensive laptop was my only option."

"What a nightmare setting up service for a TV I already purchased. 24 minutes on the phone so far and still not finished, On top of that, of course there are additional charges, other than the ones I already paid. No one person can complete the call either. I have to be transferred here and there in order to get this done. Don't even get me started on the automated system you have to get through first. What a NIGHTMARE."

"I went here recently to have my files transfer from one laptop to the next. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The transfer took overnight, and was ready by the evening the next day. I would recommend this Geek Squad to anyone needing computer assistance."
