"A rather unpleasant impression from today's visit to the service center. At first they said that everything would be done and a complimentary car wash. However, no one washed the car after the service done. To my question whether the car will be washed, they answered briefly that they do not wash cars today. And without any explanation, they looked at me like an idiot. Why they openly lied to the service that this will be a recalled car is a mystery. I understand, maybe it has to do with the weather, but why cheat. And the point is not in the washing machine itself, but in the expediency of deceiving customers. I decided to walk around the showroom. I had to make 3 laps for at least someone to ask if I needed help. The only plus is the seller Voytek. He provided professional advice and organized a test drive."

"Service was great. Everything I asked to have their technicians look looked at was done. I only have one gripe hence why I gave 4 stars. I've been a customer for several years now and with inflation hitiing every business I completely understand raising the prices from $59.99 to $89.99 but even taking that into consideration, if you use a credit card to pay your bill, Open Road Mazda tacks on a 3% service charge to the credit charge which from my perspective is really sleazy on their part considering the fact that most people today don't carry a lot of cash."

"They actually are pretty good, compared to other service depots in NJ. The only reason really to leave 1 star off - they use Valvoline Oil. May not be a huge deal to everyone but I love my CX-5 and prefer something a bit better. Next time I’ll bring my own oil, but do recommend them for your Mazda service."

"When I brought my car in for the oil light coming on while under warranty I was not impressed with the treatment from some of the employees. I can't remember what exactly was said, it was so long ago now, but it was something along the lines of if I put gas in my car. I was told that I needed to get an oil change because I used an after market oil filter when I changed the oil and that is the issue. After paying over $50 to get it changed, that wasn't the problem and it was a faulty sensor covered under warranty. I was never reimbursed for the unnecessary oil change. I was also told over the phone that there were no courtesy cars available. When I got there and complained about the car needing to be serviced when it was under warranty they told me they didn't know why someone would say that, they had plenty of courtesy cars. The kicker was that I couldn't pick up my car the day it was done because I was out of state. When I returned to get my car the windows were left down (for 3 days) and it was raining. The guy who brought me to my car told me that the technicians aren't very smart and proceeded to wipe my seat and interior doors with paper towels and send me on my way. The next time I needed to stop in I complained and they gave me a free oil change, so at least I kind of got my money back for the unnecessary oil change."

"Excellent service, friendly, highly competent staff, competetive/reasonable prices. I've been getting my car serviced at Open Road Mazda since 2012 and have never had a negative experience. My car is always fixed right the first time and it's always done on time or early. The service writers always explain options clearly and make sure I know what to expect in time and cost. The waiting area is quite clean and pleasant with nicer than usual snacks and coffee. Whenever I have needed a loaner, they always make that process easy, but I usually prefer to unwind and wait in the customer friendly lounge. I really like this place. They give me peace of mind that my car will be consistently taken care of properly. That's worth a lot to me. In my opinion, a top notch service department is the most important feature of an auto dealership. Good service is probably the #1 reason repeat buyers return when it's time for a new car."
