"Total waste of time! Although tax-payers pay their salaries, my "business advisor" meeting offered nothing in terms of advice/guidance. My take away from the meeting was the ability to take tax deductions on my gym expenses. When I requested a second meeting I was ghosted. I assume I was ghosted because I am a white, middle age woman. There are no white employees at this SBDC. Also note, that none of the employees work in the office and their office voice message states it may take time before they get back to you. It took over a week to get a return phone call. It should be illegal that tax money goes into this type of situation."
"Went to a free small business event and found it very informative and helpful. I followed up with a staff member regarding setting up a free consultation meeting to help me with my business. After providing more information about my business and my areas of need via email, I was ghosted and never heard back from that staff member again. I followed up multiple times regarding my appointment but I never got a response."
