"Not sure what’s with some of these sus looking one star reviews, but Mr. Lin is one of the more reliable and affordable vendors in DeKalb Market Hall, and the food offered is a hybrid of Taiwanese street food and Chinese comfort dishes, so if you’re expecting huge fried orange chicken portions or other American-Chinese style cuisine, look elsewhere. I usually get the peanut noodles and fish ball soup when it’s cold out, as well as their tea eggs from time to time since I’m usually too lazy to make those myself at home. It’s also one of the few stalls to offer some decent vegetarian cuisine (NOT vegan). But again, be weary of some of these dramatic reviews … one person complained about a peach tea and I’m not even sure that’s a menu item? Sheesh."
"I had there duck before and it was alright at that time it was $7 dollars for a serving. I had the duck today and the price for 1 serving was 8+ tax so one serving was $9.25. They give me 3 small pieces of duck for $9.25."

"Horrible. I have no other words to describe how bad this place was. The price really dictates what you should expect. I ordered a wonton soup, peanut noodles, and char siu yellow noodle soup. Everything tasted bland, the noodles were overly soggy, the pork had no depth of flavor, there was one teaspoon of peanut sauce on the peanut noodles, the broth was basically salty water, etc. I would understand that for a cheap meal you could get around with something quick with only a few ingredients but there’s no excuse to have such a bad product with also bad costumer service. Just an overall horrible experience. This is probably the one stand at Dekalb Market that I would NOT return to."
