"Lumberton is a joke. Mgmt is non-existent & doesn't address certain complaints from the tenants. The trash area should be condemed. Children (under the age restrictions) just throw bags wherever they want. They also drag very large bags of trash (that has accumulated in their apartments for days) along the concrete &: asphalt which opens them up, resulting in trash & garbage everywhere. If you like living in a ghetto, this place is for you! Beware of listening to your neighbors flush toilets, yell & scream, slam doors, smelling pot smoke & just plain old walking like elephants above you. Lumberton Police are in here almost on a nightly basis for a multitude of issues. I know 1st hand about that. Even the police have said to me that this place is a joke & the people living here are thugs!"

"This company acts like they are doing something good for the community but their attitudes show that they do not care about their tenants. How they act, how they address their tenants, and their demeanor has racist undertones. They speak to their tenants as if they are children that need to be tamed. They do not take inquires or problems seriously because they feel like they are doing “us” a favor. Although it is affordable income, for a lot of people it’s more than half their income they are excepted to pay. Nobody ever answers the leasing office and you have to jump through hoops to get simple questions answered. Corporate just made 5 excuses why nobody answers the phone. So it’s acceptable that nobody has to do their job."
