"Just beware that after they charge you for your visit and then you get charged for your test results. They charge you a third time just to go over your test results. I’ve never had a doctors office. Try to capitalize on one client so much. It’s disgusting."
"went for my anual checkup, my blood work came off and i called and they told me everything was fine but i insisted on speaking on the doctor she then told me that maybe i was borderline to get anemia and i needed to switch my diet, she didn’t give me no information on what i need to change or what i need to take and said she will see me in 3 months. I will be looking for a second opinion since this morning i was healthy but now i may be anemic. The lady didn’t even touch me or anything she didn’t check at all for anything that normally involve the anual check. I wish i had read the reviews before i went here"
"I booked an appointment for my younger daughter a week and half ago for 12:15 PM slot at Palisade Avenue, Jersey City facility (patients can't reach this facility over phone... the call always goes to the call center and most of the time even call center couldn't reach them in case patient has a question on something). We reached there at 12:10 PM and signed the patient arrival list at the front desk. 50 mins after the appointment time, I was called at the front desk to sign forms (my daughter is an existing patient for past 2.5 years but they said they moved to a new system starting last month and patients have to sign the documents again) and pay the copayment. The lady who was helping me couldn't bring up the forms in her computer and sent me to the other counter where the 2nd lady couldn't find the appointment itself with my daughter's 1st name, last name, DOB, phone number, etc. Even with the 12:15 PM appointment time with doctor she couldn't find my daughter's appointment. Finally after 20 mins of struggle she said she found her name and asked me to sign the forms and pay my copayment. I understand that they moved to a new system but not sure why the data of the existing patients are not migrated properly (I even really really doubt this was a true statement because she could find the patient details, address, primary & secondary phone numbers, etc. later). Then the real wait time started for the doctor visit. We were called to the room 10 mins after and the doctor finally visited 45 mins after we entered the room. We finally came out of the facility frustrated at 2:30 PM after the blood work done. Because of this delay I couldn't pick up my elder one from school and had to arrange some alternatives. It was 2 hrs. and 15 mins in total. Is it some kind of joke? Optum, you think people have that much time to waste on a weekday afternoon after setting up an appointment? Unfortunately this is not the 1st time I am experiencing this.. Every time I visit there the same thing is repeated. Now-a-days I try to avoid this facility as much as possible but what can do you when you have few good doctors available in that facility. The Optum management should really look at this Palisade Avenue, Jersey City facility operations and improve how they are harassing patients today. The ladies in the front desk are another pain point. They always misbehave and fight back with patients on small things while they themselves carry bag full inefficiencies. Word of caution: ******* Please AVOID this facility as much as possible. *******"
"if I could give negative stars I would! first off the staff is rude and seemed too busy to care to answer any questions. The office was dirty lots of dust and dirt on the floor. I get jersey can be dirty but this was nasty didn't feel comfortable in the room. Maybe consider investing in a broom and a dust pan. Went for a physical that should have been covered by my plan but it was coded improperly and there where things added to the bill that were never addressed which ended up costing me. 4 months later Im still going back and forth with insurance to get this issue fixed. No one can reach the company. lots of other Doctors in the area don't pick this one Urszula Bednarska. 10/10 don't recommend!"
"I wish i would have read tbe reviews before i ever scheduled a doctor visit here. I waited over an hour for my appointment, the doctor was very nonchalant, and it has been 2 weeks and i am still waiting for the doctor to review my lab results. I am in need of prescriptions and I have had 0 communication since my appointment. I will never go there again."
