Big Blue Swim School

"We always try to get an early spot when it’s not too busy. Our kids love going here and can definitely swim much better than I could at their age already. You can walk your kids in but my kids are comfortable enough to go in by themselves. If you do walk your kids in, be prepared to go barefoot. No outside shoes on the pool deck! The instructors are patient and give the kids the confidence to try new things. The instructors are usually the same week to week but sometimes they have subs. The changing area is generally large and clean. Some instances have occurred when the door latching system has gotten jammed and the doors don’t open even when the stall is not in use so some maintenance could be due soon. They provide 4 hair dryers as well to dry off after changing. The app is the best part because I can schedule any makeup classes, report absences, and track their progress with the stars system as they go level to level."

"Love the school. The space is kept incredibly clean, organized and child and parent friendly! They have activities/ small play areas to keep siblings entertained while waiting for the lesson to end. The app is very easy to use and track your child’s progress. Every few weeks the instructor comes out to talk to you about your child’s progress and skills they need to work on. We have had lessons with a lot of different instructors at the school and they all are great- very enthusiastic and my boys love working with them."

She has worked with my son for a while, and I cannot say enough about Kelsey as my son has grown in confidence and ability under her guidance.
