"I would give Highland Montgomery Apartments 6 stars if possible. I just moved out after being there for 5 years. The quality of the community manager and her maintenance staff is exceptional. For any issue you have in your unit they always respond in one hour or less and make it right. Everyone is cheerful, friendly and enthused about making residents comfortable and happy. I've never had it so good at any rental property where I've resided in the past. Buildings and grounds are well maintained. There were frequent upgrades to both during my tenancy. I enjoyed the seasonal color installations and having a giant lawn to relax and play on. The community manager admirably screens tenants and gently enforces the usual rules. I never felt unsafe nor uncomfortable. Never a noise problem, unruly tenants or bad behavior observed. Convenience! A 12 minute walk to NJT northeast corrider trains. Make sure you learn the quick alley shortcut to Raritan Avenue stores. Most everything you need is a 5 to 10 minute walk. A pharmacy, convenience store, deli, pizza, coffee, Dunkin Donuts, more. Definitely can live without a car."

"I can't say enough good things about Highland Montgomery- the physical space is lovely and well taken care o, I feel safe here. Lora and the maintenance crew are the best. When I email about a problem, it is solved that day and often within 1 or 2 hours of my email. It's a great place to live."

Anytime of day that I call for something it’s never an inconvenience for them. Lora makes the highland Montgomery community. Without her, I truly believe that me and my fiancée wouldn’t be here. "I lived here for 5.5 years. I love this place. Very peaceful and quiet. The maintenance staff and Lora who works at the leasing office are great and are very helpful. The apartments themselves are right on 27 with easy access. In the few years I lived there, I saw a lot of improvements made in the buildings including newer washers and dryers. Neighbors are also very good in the building I lived in. The bike storage room was super helpful to store my bike. Parking was never an issue for me, there was always space available for me behind my building."
