"They lie about the amount for the apartments . They discriminate again certain people .my friend literally called in the same day asking and she told her the apartments was 1650 and when i called she said 1845 a month she was very rude . They only accept certain people here and i have heard alot more about the owners of these apartments"

"We have been living here for 4 years. It was good for the first 3 years util the last year when a horrible neighbor moved in, our nightmare (or daymare) begin. They play super loud music with heavy bass stereo that makes the entire building resonate. You can't even hear your TV or music unless you wear a headphone. Initially, they play musics on daily basis. One time, they even play super loud music until 1 am for two days and we have to call the police. After this episode, they still play loud music after 10 pm and we have to knock on their door several times. Now, they still play loud music with the same volume in the day time, which is legally OK, but still bothers people who have to work from home during the COVID season. Also, they constantly slams door or moving things in the middle of the night waking us up at 3 or 4 am many times. Sadly, we have to move out because we have a one year old baby who are constantly scared by the loud music and their behavior seriously affects our life quality. I hope these people will reflect on themselves if they see this or the leasing office will do something (they literally did nothing but only send notices which are useless). Otherwise, best of luck to the new tenant who will be living in our unit. PS. Special thanks to the maintainer who is so friendly and always come to help if there is any problem."

"called 5 times for someone to give me a time to come but it will be too late. Every single night, there are so many of flying bugs on the wall, table, windows, bathroom (they get attracted by light). Then, they will be all dead the next morning all over your floor, table, computers. We had to hide in bedroom and only turned on the small light on, just afraid that the bright one will attach them in the bedroom. Imagine some land on your face when you are sleeping. They could not come in for another 4 days, how can we live like this. This is NOT habitable!!!!!!"

"There were no garbage and the place was clean. The plants were nice and people were respectful. The cedar Lane apartment office was near by and they answered all of my questions. There was a park and it was also very clean and great for the kids to play in. There is also a swimming pool and that was clean, but at the begging of summer it had dirty leaves and moss floating in the pool. But after a few weeks, they will clean the pool. The lifeguards are always on watch and protective. The apartments are clean and the porch gives a nice view of trees and other plants. The mailboxes are near the apartments and they open and close without problem."

"This place deserves no stars. The buildings are poorly maintained and the hallways stink. Also, the laundry rooms are not clean at all. We chose this place because of its proximity to the Rutgers campus. Set the building quality issues aside, the staff in the management office are also very UNRELIABLE. In short, they are very GREEDY to take as much money as they can from you. DO NOT TRUST IN WHAT THEY SAY AND ASK FOR WRITTEN AGREEMENTS, especially when it comes to MONEY related stuff and receiving back your SECURITY DEPOSIT. We signed a lease termination notice 23 days before the last day of our lease and we were told that it will be fine. Then, they asked us to pay the last month's rent and we paid. Two months passed and we did not receive anything from them. We were back to campus for one day and we thought we should stop by to see what happened to our security deposit, they made several false claims and changed their word several times while we were there. First, they said they sent us a check. Then, they changed their words and they said a notice was sent to us that we broke the lease. Next, they provided a tracking number to show that they sent us the notice. After asking for the tracking number, they reluctantly provided a number. It turned out the number was invalid and had nothing to do with us. We persistently asked them to clarify the situation, then they issued a check for half of our security deposit and ask us to leave. Long story short, they took our security deposit money claiming that we broke the lease because we did not give them a 30-day notification; in practice, they rented our place to someone else and MADE MONEY TWICE AS MUCH... A funny fact is that they would have not given us any money if we did not happen to be there and have a chance to go to their office after two months!"
