"(Just ask local Edison Police about this place they know it very well and are on the premises basically everyday for a different problem, Theft,DV,Overdoses, etc) Anyone who is happy living here is either a kid who doesn't know any better or some evil person. There is something demonic about this building and community. There is so many things we could talk about. The lighting is also always very dim in the apartments. Which is also a sign of evilness. And If you live facing the parking lot, don't be surprised to hear kids screaming at the top of their lungs every afternoon and hear loud crashing noises from the garbage truck in the early hours of EVERY morning. I didn't even know disposal companies run throughout the night. smh Every bad review is the watered down truth. And every good review is the management trying to make things seem "great". People live here because it is convenient for the time being. And last week a car was stolen right out the parking lot. Have fun. But anyone who is logical, is looking for an escape plan. What a shame, because the building itself is new. The management is a whole another review. And they try to evict genuine people to replace them with more unhappy evil people that don't even respect the community. Peace will be difficult to find."
"I was really pleased with my experience at Truman Square. The food was great and the service was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone."
"Very disappointed. Whoever is the manger of building is doing a horrible job. Walked in to submit application and there was no customer service, no tour of place. Just submit your application and 25 non refundable fee and they said they would get in contact when something becomes available. If I put an application fee I already expect a tour of the apartment and expect the apartment to available. This isn’t a raffle, it’s people’s homes and lives. Went in a second time and instead of meeting manger I was greeted by a Maintenance employee who has no customer service and could barely speak English. I had additional questions but could be answered because employee couldn’t help and office manager was unable to manage incoming customers. After reading reviews there’s a lack of respect everywhere from manager, maintenance to even the tenants. It’s cheap for a reason!"
"I have a friend who lives at Truman Square Apts in Edison... This place is a joke !!!! Most of the tenants that live here have no respect for other tenants, for example; leaving trash in common areas, loud music in the parking lot, using fire exits with alarm excessively, stealing mail packages in locked room and retrieval of packages only M-F and not retrievable after 6pm, for pets to be directed to designated pet area, with no information of its whereabouts. In addition, the trash rooms should be inspected by the state and discussting, the community room that was once free, is now under new management costing $250 for 3 hours and kitchen access unavailable and must be catered. This is no place to live comfortably under the current property manager and if you have kids, they'll be playing in the parking lot."
"When I first looked at these apartments, I was excited to move in. New building, everything was new, nice area etc. however, the staff that I’ve come into contact with over the year+ that I’ve been here are very unprofessional. For one, they’ve had multiple different office workers AND managers during the short time I’ve been here. They lack communication unless you’re a few days late on rent. If you have a complaint, it mail by goes unnoticed. They ask you for information that’s not needed for recertification. When I gave them then information, they tell me they aren’t going to use it. So it basically led me to believe they wanted to be a little nosey and find out my personals when they didn’t need to. I could go on and on about this place. There’s no where for the kids to play, yet everyone complains about noise; kids are going to be kids. If feel a lot better if the management team showed a little more compassion to their tenants. Sometimes you have to let them know, just because some of us receive assistance, doesn’t mean we aren’t educated. Also, some tenants live like children. The trash rooms be horrible at times, people steal packages. More security needs to be on hand for certain things. But to all future tenants, GOOD LUCK!"
